It's Father's Day 2021 and I was thinking of the different fathers we encounter or are breed by.
We cannot change our biological fathers regardless of their titles, wealth, education or humbly stations in life; whether disciplinarians, softies, those who father with grace leave legacies as role models.
I realize that many of these men who exact discipline on us are flawed and need disciplining themselves. Especially those with dark family secrets that look brilliant to the world but cannot keep level eyes with all humankind.
Why is life so complex? Perhaps we should think only of the wise and gentle fathers some are lucky to have. "The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him" (Proverbs 23: 24, KJV).
